WHAT IS SUSHI?

Sushi is a low fat, high protein combination of fish, seafood, vegetables and vinegared rice. Salmon, mackerel, trout and tuna all contain the omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA which help with improving cholesterol levels, lowering blood pressure and decreasing the risk of heart disease. Sushi not only fits a healthy lifestyle, it also tastes and looks delicious.

There are three main types of sushi:

1. •    Maki-sushi     -    rolled sushi
   

2. •    Nigiri-sushi    -    slices of fish or other items on pads of rice
   

3. •    Sashimi         -    sliced fish traditionally served with regular boiled rice
   

Condiments used with sushi:

1. •    Soy sauce     -    to sweeten the taste of the fish
   

2. •    Wasabi          -    to add flavour to the sushi
   

3. •    Gari               -   sweet pickled ginger to cleanse the palate

Our sushi is prepared by a team of dedicated chefs who choose the freshest fish and best ingredients to ensure that outstanding sushi is delivered at your event.

Choose from one of our four, thoughtfully designed menus which are essentially our guide to some tried and tested selection ‘combos’  that we know and love. You can, of course, mix and match from the different menus - just let us know what you would like!

We will help you to calculate the right volume of sushi to order for your event and ensure its delivery in our chilled vans on time and in the best possible condition.

To keep things simple, regardless of what you choose sushi is priced at £1.50 per piece (excluding soft shell crab). Delivery costs vary dependant on location. (Please note that there is a minimum order of 100 pieces of sushi for each order - we aren’t a local sushi restaurant that delivers!)

SUSHI CONDIMENT KIT

To accompany your sushi you may also need chopsticks, ginger, wasabi and soy sauce. We can arrange for this to be delivered as a ‘condiment kit’ for a cost of £0.75 per person.
